vielen Dank für die prompte Zusendung der Kabel!
Ich hatte bereits Gelegenheit, ausgiebig mit dem LS2 zu hören. Es ist genauso grandios wie die Netzkabel!
Ist das ein eingespieltes Lautsprecherkabel? Zunächst war ich nämlich ein wenig erschrocken, weil die gesamte Kette ein gutes Pfund heller tönt, was nicht jeder Aufnahme gut tut. Vielleicht kurz mein Setup:
Accuphase E-350 und DP-500, verbunden mit Nordost Heimdall XLR. Furutech
Netzleiste e-tp 80e, WSS Netzkabel Goldline und Furutech Zuleitung, Lautsprecher Sonics Allegria S1, bisher mit xxx LS 1202.
Was anfangs als \"zu hell\" empfunden wurde, stellte sich schnell als Unvermögen des LS 1202 heraus. Das WSS Platinline LS2 bringt hier zum gleichen Preis deutlich mehr Detailreichtum, Klangfarben, Zwischentöne. Helene Grimauds Klavieranschläge (Beethoven, Klavierkonzert No.5) waren vorher von einem undefinierbarem Nebengeräusch begleitet, von dem ich die Anschläge der Hämmer nur vermuten konnte. Jetzt brauche ich nichts mehr zu vermuten, sondern höre Mechanik und Pedale des Flügels klar akzentuiert. Anne-Spohie Mutters Geige (Bach/Gubaidulina) hat mehr Strahlkraft, so mancher Aufsetzer des Bogens auf die Saiten blieb vorher verborgen und ist nun mit absoluter Selbstverständlichkeit hörbar. Die Musiker des Ensembles treten deutlicher als Einzelkünstler hervor,
die Plastizität grenzt ans holographische.
In Dieter Meyers Stimme (Yello - Touch Yello) offenbaren sich Obertöne, die das LS 1202 nicht übertragen konnte, während Elektronikeffekte durch den Hörraum knallen, dass es eine wahre Pracht ist. Selbst bei genialen Krachmachern wie Slayer erscheinen knallharte Riffkaskaden, die vorher als Soundbrei daherkamen, klar konturiert und voller Drive.
Kurz: Was ich höre, ist purer Signalfluss.
Hatte ich den tieferen und konturierteren Bass bereits erwähnt? Was Konrad Wächter da veranstaltet, geht klanglich eindeutig in Richtung Nordost, und das zu Preisen, die für einen eingefleischten Highender nun wirklich völlig in Ordnung gehen.
Für mich markiert WSS das Ende der Kabeldiskussion.

Hello!!. How have you been? Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I certainly did
connect the LS2. My very first reaction was not quite good. I thought that it
would be very neutral and quite dry like the interconnect. However, the cable
sounded quite rich and quite bad in the bass with a warm mid-band. I was quite
taken aback! . How can the interconnect sound so good and the speaker cable
so.... odd!. However, I let the cable play for a week or so and did a second
evaluation.
The cable had changed dramatically!. It is still slightly rich in tone but the
bass has even-ed out beautifully. It is lovely from the correct amount
of mid-bass to lower, deep bass. However, the cable excels in its lower treble
to upper treble performance and in its speed. The snare of a drum, the crash of
a cymbal is un-believable. Also, the speed of the sound of a Trumpet (when
played fast with multiple breaths) or the glare of the sax is superb. The upper
notes of the piano are almost \\\"live\\\" which is very hard to achieve. My wife
plays the piano so i know. Vocals are superbly clean and the cable adds no
character to them. I am very happy with the sound of the interconnect/speaker
cable set. Thank-you!. I wish i had told you to include a single power
cable/cord along-with the speaker cable. I could have tried it out and sent it
back to you.
